The sisterhood of the traveling insulin reunites...

Family
And a good evening to you from across the globe after another GREAT DAY in the Lion City. So first off, ANNOUNCEMENT - there will be NO BLOG until Monday night. Why, you ask? Because Team Taylor is headed due north to tackle the wilds of Penang, Malaysia, baby!!! Bring on the temples and fiery curry!
Team Taylor rallied and got out of bed again this morning, with Muffin Puffin logging 3+ miles and the Bull wandering over to the gym for a 50 minute ride. Granted, it was no "T-Rowe special" (which is about 85 miles in 2 hours or something REDONKULOUS like that), but it felt good. The work day was good as well. In truth, I can say that this week has been among the most productive of my CAREER at BAC (insert all the boys saying, "What, did you actually close an issue? Attend a meeting? Speak a coherent sentence? Learn a formula in excel?" I know, I know - the list is endless). Also, I was treated to perhaps one of the GREATEST similes in the history of corporate email, but the sender will remain safely anonymous. Seriously - I'm still chuckling.
Oh, and did I mention that I've had Subway 3 times this week? Yeah, I don't look as trim as Jared for some reason...could be the meatball sub...ten dollar foot loooooooooooooong....
The evening was great, as we got a chance to catch up with an old friend. If you remember back to December, Team Taylor did some heavy gambling at the Singapore Turf Club, where we were guests of Paula's friend Matt (he's the guy who actually calls the races). Well, as fate would have it, tonight we met up with him (to pick up some leftover medicine for Wisconsin's finest), and we ended up at the MECCA of all things cultural and Singaporean - HARD ROCK CAFE, BABY!!!! Old School - once again it came through in the clutch: cold beer, great food, and good music. The only thing missing was Jumper. Oh well - 3 out of 4 ain't bad.
We had a great night knocking back a few (but hey, we had 2 AFD's in a row leading up, so that's something) and eating AMAZING burgers. Seriously - tourist trap or not, that was one of the best burgers I've had in a LONG time - 10 ounces of pure love, baby!!! It was so good to catch up with him, as we hadn't seen him since December - WAY TOO LONG (that's what she said).
And now it's time to back and hit the sack, as the Bull's gonna try to get up tomorrow for the 3rd straight morning workout. All you folks with kids - how on earth do you do it? I am truly impressed.
Okay, that's all the news that's fit to print. Everyone have a GREAT weekend, and we'll chat on Monday! GO MAVS!!!
Love,
Sam and Jenny
