And old familiar face on the running loop finally returns...

And a good evening to you after another GREAT DAY in the Lion City. Team Taylor got out of bed this morning and burned some calories, with the Bull logging 5 VERY sweaty miles whilst Muffin Puffin logged 3K in the water. Seriously - she's a torpedo.

But the best news from the run? MY MERLION IS BACK, BABY!!!! That's right - now that we finally have that gaudy monstrosity torn down, it's only a matter of time before Singapore's icon is fully back to normal. It should be noted that, at present, the water isn't turned on. However, I'm confident that will change within the next week or so. I don't want to here the whole "we just conserve water" argument - you'll pulling it out of the bloody bay AND it's rained about 57 feet in the last 2 days.

In other news, the Bull's "race photos" are now online. Dinger and T-Bone, you'll get a GREAT laugh out of these, as they are only the photos right at the finish. And best of all, they are UTTER DONKEY TRASH. Seriously - there are 4 photos of me, all at the finish line AFTER THE RACE IS OVER. They all show me walking and checking my watch. And the cost of each of these GLORIOUS PHOTOS? $38.95 APIECE!!!! You can buy the "digital pack" for something like $100, but WHO THE @#$# WOULD DO THAT? Nice one, guys - yet again a reason that this was a cut rate race.

Now it should be noted that I've received complaints that this blog has turned into a fitness journal. For those of you who've braved the constant running updates, pictures of me in skimpy shorts, and descriptions of my bloody nipples, I am happy to report that Team Taylor is about to get back into travel mode. As you well know, we've been in town the last 2 weekends, which is just something we're not accustomed to. Fret not, however, as more misadventures will soon be in the works!

Tonight will be some discount sushi and California oranges - I just need perfect pumpkin to get home from work!

And last but not least - CONGRATULATIONS MARTIN AND SARA!!!!!! AMAZING NEWS!!!!! I can just hear CP in Hamm's chanting "SA-RA BAT-TEN!!!" Seriously - amazing stuff.
